The easiest way to spice up your bbq party is by rubbing spices on your meat, fish or even vegetables prior to barbecuing them.


  • 2 tbs salt
  • 2 tbs ground black pepper
  • 2 tbs sweet paprika powder
  • 2 tbs dark muscovado sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tbs dried terragon
  • 1 tbs dried parsley


Combine all the ingredients. Store in a dry place.
You can use this rub for meat, poultry, fish and vegetables such as bell peppers, courgettes and pumpkin. You can also use it for oven and pan dishes, it is not limited to barbecue use.
