Brussels sprouts are one of those love-em-or-hate-em vegetables, but when treated well, they are not bitter and quite delicious. Bacon is a great pairing with the sprouts too. Excluding the butter, this dish has only three ingredients.
- 125gr bacon cubes
- 270gr cleaned Brussels sprouts (300gr uncleaned)
- 2 tsp butter
- 70gr macaroni

Halve the Brussels sprouts.
Cook the macaroni al dente.
Heat a wok. Add the bacon cubes and on a low flame sweat them until the fat is being released. Now add the butter and crank up the heat.
Add the Brussels sprouts to the wok. While tossing often, bake for 3.5-4 minutes until the sprouts are cooked through but still have some bite. This decreases their bitterness, as sprouts become bitter from being overcooked.
Toss the macaroni with the sprouts and serve.
