Just two ingredients, yet a good addition to your basics, because it goes with so many things. I use my homemade thick butterscotch sauce for this, which is easy to make but has a long shelf life. You can use commercial caramel sauce as well, but find a thick sauce, as you don’t want to water down the whipped cream.
- 200gr whipping cream
- 4 tbs thick butterscotch/caramel sauce
Whip the cream until starting to thicken.
Add the cold sauce and beat until firm. Do not overwhip.
