My colleague told me how good chocolate banana bread was. So I had to make one. I have to admit, I was VERY sceptical. But it’s tasty and was defintely approved by my tasting-panel (aka my colleagues, all men).
- 2 large eggs
- 2 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 75gr sugar
- 100gr soft butter
- 100gr Greek yogurt
- 175gr flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbs cacao powder
- pinch of salt
- 100gr chocolate chips
Makes 1 small bundt or 1 regular cake
Combine the eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, butter and yogurt.
Combine the flour, baking powder, cacao powder, salt and chocolate chips.
Fold the dry ingredients in the wet ingredients.
Pour the batter in a small bundt pan or a regular cake tin. Make sure it is well buttered and floured.
Bake for 45min for the bundt or 60 minutes for the regular cake on 170°C.
