Ganache for Layer Cakes

A semi soft ganache, perfect for a thin layer in layered cakes.

Ingredients:

  • 110gr dark chocolate
  • 150gr heavy cream

Makes enough for 2 thin layers in 20-25cm cakes

Recipe:

Heat the cream and chocolate together – either bain marie or in 30 second intervals in the microwave. Stir to combine, then leave to cool until room temperature.
