Goat Cheese Hamburger (BC)

This XL burger is filled with goat cheese, and when you cut into it, the hot cheese will run out. Be careful not to burn your mouth. This burger is huge, so feel free to make it smaller.

Ingredients:

  • 250gr minced beef
  • salt/pepper
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 small egg
  • 1 tbs breadcrumbs
  • 35gr disc of goat cheese

Serves 1 as part of the Budget Challenge

Recipe:

Combine the minced beef with the salt, pepper, nutmeg, egg and breadcrumbs. Combine well.
Make 2 thin patties of the beef. Place a disc of goat cheese on top of one and cover with the other patty. Seal the edges very well, or the cheese will run out when grilling.

Grill for 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
Serve with cooked beets and a jacket potato.
