Such a simple dish, but packed with flavour and a great vegetarian option.
- 80gr green beans
- 150gr oyster mushrooms
- 1 tsp sunflower oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbs oyster sauce
- 80gr noodles
Serves 1 as part of the Budget Challenge
Cook the noodles according to packet instructions.
Cut the tips from the green beans.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and bake the beans for about 3 minutes or until browned.
Chop the garlic finely and add this to the beans. Bake gently for half a minute. They are not allowed to brown, as garlic turns bitter quickly.
Add the oyster mushrooms and bake for a minute or until softening.
Add the oyster sauce, toss everything well and cook until heated. Serve on top of the noodles.
