Buttery leek is one of the best things ever, and it makes plain macaroni something delicious.
- 1 small leek
- 1 tbs butter
- 120gr cooked macaroni
Serves 1 as part of the Budget Challenge
Slice the leek into rings.
Heat the butter in a sauce pan. Add the leek. Stir well, then cover with a lid and leave to sweat for 10 minutes or until the leek is wilted and fragrant.
Season to taste with salt and pepper, then stir in the macaroni.
