Making homemade fries doesn’t have to be a big adventure. Steam or cook potatoes, toss with some oil, place in the oven for half an hour while turning twice. That’s it.
- 300gr potato, skin on
- 1 tsp sunflower oil
Serves 1 as part of the Budget Challenge
Rub the potato. Cut it into thick fries. Steam or cook until cooked through.
Toss the potatoes with the oil and some salt and pepper. Place on some baking paper.
Bake for 30 minutes on 200°C while turning twice.
