This pork dish has a wonderful, fragrant, creamy sauce. I have served it on kale fried rice.
- 180gr pork leg steak
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 chili pepper
- 100ml coconut milk
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 1 tbs coriander
Serves 1 as part of the Budget Challenge
Chop the garlic and chili pepper finely. Combine them with the coconut milk, fish sauce, oyster sauce and honey and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cut the pork into cubes and marinade this in the coconut milk for 10 minutes.
Heat a dry frying pan. Add the pork with the marinade and leave to simmer for 5-6 minutes or until the pork has cooked through.
Chop the coriander finely and sprinkle this over the dish at the end.
