One of my all-time favourite sauces. Incredibly easy to make, yet fresh and very versatile. I serve this with pita breads, roast leg of lamb, as a sauce with a barbecue or as a dip with bread and raw vegetables.
- 1 cucumber
- 1 litre Greek Yogurt (10% fat)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Salt & pepper
Grate the cucumber into a sieve. Press out as much water as possible, then add it to the Greek yogurt together with the garlic (pressed through a garlic press). Combine well and add salt and pepper to taste if so desired.
