A great simple dessert. Top it with some fresh fruit like mango and passionfruit. Serve in small portions, this is a filling dessert.
- 500gr cream (30% fat)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 100gr sugar
- 2 sheets of gelatin
- 200gr bitter dark chocolate
Makes 10 portions
Soak the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
Combine the cream, vanilla, salt and sugar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Take the pan off the heat. Squeeze out the gelatin and stir this into the cream.
Melt the chocolate – I use the microwave in short intervals, stirring often. Stir this into the cream.
Divide over 10 pots or small bowls and leave to set.
